abstract = "A eros{\~a}o consiste no fator principal de
degrada{\c{c}}{\~a}o do solo no ambiente agr{\'{\i}}cola e
respons{\'a}vel pela perda de {\'a}reas agricult{\'a}veis. O
presente trabalho teve como objetivo realizar uma estimativa das
perdas de solo por eros{\~a}o, utilizando-se de t{\'e}cnicas de
geoprocessamento e da an{\'a}lise multicrit{\'e}rio, para
avaliar o grau de degrada{\c{c}}{\~a}o existente na bacia
hidrogr{\'a}fica do c{\'o}rrego Anhumas, localizada entre os
munic{\'{\i}}pios de Anhembi, Bofete e Botucatu, Estado de
S{\~a}o Paulo. As perdas de solos evidenciaram que o processo
erosivo resulta da intera{\c{c}}{\~a}o de fatores abi{\'o}ticos
(intr{\'{\i}}nsecos do meio) e bi{\'o}ticos (a{\c{c}}{\~a}o
antr{\'o}pica), por{\'e}m sofreu maior influ{\^e}ncia do uso e
ocupa{\c{c}}{\~a}o do solo e das pr{\'a}ticas de
conserva{\c{c}}{\~a}o do solo, principalmente devido a
influ{\^e}ncia positiva da vegeta{\c{c}}{\~a}o nativa e dos
cord{\~o}es de vegeta{\c{c}}{\~a}o permanente. A maior parcela
da {\'a}rea de estudo ficou dentro do limite toler{\'a}vel de
perdas, demonstrando que a bacia hidrogr{\'a}fica apresenta uma
situa{\c{c}}{\~a}o est{\'a}vel de degrada{\c{c}}{\~a}o
ambiental. ABSTRACT: Erosion is the main factor of soil
degradation in agricultural environment and responsible for the
loss of agricultural areas. The present study aimed to estimate
soil losses by erosion, using geoprocessing techniques and
multi-criteria analysis, to evaluate the degradation degree of the
watershed of Anhumas stream, located among the municipalities of
Anhembi, Bofete and Botucatu, State of S{\~a}o Paulo, Brazil.
Soil losses evidenced that the erosion process results of the
interaction of abiotic (intrinsic of environment) and biotic
factors (anthropic action), but it was more influenced by use and
occupation of land and soil conservation practices, mainly due to
the positive influence of native vegetation and cords of permanent
vegetation. The largest portion of the study area was within the
tolerable limit of soil losses, demonstrating that the watershed
presents a stable situation of environmental degradation.",
